On September 12, 2022 Reggie Smith, the artist presented a limited-edition print of painter/poet TJ Reddy to UNCC Associate Dean for Special Collections and University Archives. The university has housed a permanent collection of Reddy's artworks, publications and artifacts since 2016. This donation was significant for two reasons; first to celebrate TJ Reddy's art and social activism legacy. As well, this limited-edition print, kicks off a $20,000 scholarship fundraising event from the sell of 325 prints in his honor.
